We acknowledge the pain and sufferings of indigenous people but we have also a troubling history of this country including as of today specially racialization of Muslims, Jews, Sikhs and blacks. Our people are being killed and our worship places are burned down or desecrated.
But we got more from this country, happiness, joy and prosperity which needs to be celebrated but in a somber mood and with dignity.
