Walk, Talk & Connect
Mississauga, Ontario — August 26, 2026: Unity in the Community (UIC) Seniors Mississauga organized a successful “Walk, Talk & Connect” at JC Sedington Park, along the beautiful Lake Ontario waterfront.
The event brought seniors and community members together for a morning of walking, conversation, friendship and social connection. Participants enjoyed the scenic surroundings while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
The initiative reflects UIC Seniors Mississauga’s commitment to supporting seniors’ well-being, reducing social isolation and creating opportunities for people to stay active and connected within the community.
UIC thanked all participants for joining the walk and contributing to the event’s success, emphasizing that strong communities are built through friendship, participation and togetherness.
