UIC Seniors Milton Hosts a Successful Community Picnic

Milton, Ontario: UIC Seniors Milton organized a successful community picnic for Miltonians, attracting a large number of residents for an afternoon of friendship, entertainment, and community spirit.

The event was honoured by the presence of Mr. Gordon Krantz, the longest-serving Mayor of Milton, who applauded the work being carried out by UIC Seniors Milton. Mayor Krantz appreciated UIC’s efforts to bring the community together and assured the organization of his continued cooperation and support.

MP Kristina Derksen also sent a message of appreciation and best wishes to UIC Seniors Milton for organizing the community gathering.

The picnic featured a delicious lunch, followed by a tea break with tea and samosas. The musical program added to the enjoyment, with Munir Siddiqui, Mahmood Nadeem, and Rukhsana Rizvi entertaining the audience with their melodious voices.

Amjad Rana and Fasih Syed also addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of community engagement, healthy activities, and bringing Milton residents together.

The event was a wonderful example of UIC Seniors Milton’s commitment to promoting healthy, active, and connected living while creating opportunities for friendship and community participation.
