Another Enlightened Event by UIC.
Ramadan is a time of charity, of giving, and service to fellow citizens. Ramadan is a very special time – a time to bring families, neighbors, and communities together to share blessings as gathered yesterday at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre. Councillors Joe Horneck and Alvin Tedjo talked about the diversity of Mississauga at a largely attended Iftar dinner ( breaking fast together – Building bridges) organized by Unity in the Community. Mr Tariq Ghori gave his sermon on significance of Ramadan.
Famous Naatkhawan of Canada Waseem Haroon, Amir Akhter and Nishi Khan presented their enlightened naats.
