UIC Interfaith Holiday Celebration

UIC Interfaith Holiday Celebration was held yesterday at St. Francis Assisi Church Mississauga where MPP Sheref Sabawy, Councillors Martin Reid and Dipika Damerla and Schoold Board Trustee Jeff Clark were in attendance.
Islamic Scholar Tariq Ghori presented Islamic perspective of Jesus in Quran and Christian festivities while The Rev. Jeff A Brown the Diocese of Toronto prayed for peace in the world.
interfaith dialogue specially traditions as to how celebrate Christmas in their religion fosters connections, empathy, and understanding among people. Personal stories facilitate the breakdown of stereotypes and barriers that may exist between people of different faiths.
