ELDER ABUSE WORKSHOP

ELDER ABUSE WORKSHOP arranged by UIC Seniors Club at Mississauga Valley Community Centre today.
Peel Police Elder Abuse coordinator Constable Vito Padeno gave in length presentation. UIC President Fasih Syed said that Elder abuse is a growing concern in our society, affecting countless seniors who deserve to live with dignity, respect, and security. As our population ages, it becomes increasingly important to raise awareness about elder abuse and to take proactive measures to prevent it.
Coordinator Amjad Rana also spoke on this occasion.
