UIC 7th Food Drive- Closing events
One of two closing events held yesterday at MWC food bank.
MPP Kaleed Rasheed & Councillor Ron Starr were the guest of honors. MPP Rasheed appreciated the continuing efforts of UIC for helping the underprivileged Canadians by organizing food drive, blankets drive, gift cards drive during Christmas and blood donations besides fundraising for Credit Valley Hospital.
Councillor Ron Starr offered his support to UIC alleviating poverty from our cities.
UIC will award recognition awards to Imran Adhami and Akmal Naqvi for their hard work. UIC delivered 5000 lbs of rice to MWC food bank. UIC thanks Mohammad Jawaid for donating 2500 lbs of rice.
