Eid Musical Extravaganza

Unity in the Community (UIC) proudly hosted a vibrant and heart-warming Community Eid Musical Extravaganza, celebrating harmony, culture, and togetherness. The event, held from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM, brought together community members, leaders, and dignitaries for an unforgettable evening.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Carolyn Parrish, who addressed the attendees and announced a generous $5,000 donation to the Unity Food Bank, further strengthening UIC’s ongoing efforts to combat hunger and support vulnerable families.

Also in attendance was Iqra Khalid, who commended Unity in the Community for its dedicated service to humanitarian support, cultural harmony, and seniors’ wellbeing.

Joe Horneck also joined the celebration and shared encouraging remarks with the audience.

The evening featured captivating musical performances by talented artists Shayamla Ramchandran, Iqbal Singh Brar, Imran Baig, Mohammad Rafiq, and Rukhsana Rizvi, who delighted the crowd with soulful and energetic songs.

UIC leadership—including President Fasih Syed, Coordinator Amjad Rana, and Farman Khan—addressed the gathering, highlighting UIC’s ongoing mission to serve the hungry, support seniors, and bring diverse communities together.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, adding warmth and hospitality to an evening filled with joy, unity, and celebration.
