UIC Alzheimer Awareness Month

A seminar: Memory Loss organized by UIC – Unity in the Community today at Mississauga Valley CC.

Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana who talked abot Memory Loss is a world-renowned neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He is the director of the Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto

He said that today, over 650,000 Canadians live with dementia and that number is expected to rise to 1 million by 2030. We need your continued support to ensure that people living with dementia, and those who love and care for them, have the resources they need, close to home.
