UIC Seniors Mississauga hosted a vibrant New Year celebration

The UIC Seniors Mississauga hosted a vibrant New Year celebration today at Churchill MeadowCC.

MP Iqra Khalid and MPP Sheref Sabawy attended the event and delivered engaging remarks.

Community members gathered to reflect on the past year and welcome 2026 with optimism.

Following the speeches, attendees enjoyed a lively music party by singers Iqbal Singh Brar, Shamim khan, Saeed Siddiqui, Mohammad Rafiq and Rukhsana Rizvi.

The event highlighted unity, cultural pride, and the strength of Mississauga’s senior community.
